Jan 8, 2018 | Podcast, Prayer

1 Chronicles 4:10

He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that You would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.

Series: A Different Prayer

This week we will study on the topic of prayer.

We will talk about the prayer of Jabez from the scripture portion 1 Chronicles 4:10 – “He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel. Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.”

He prayed to:

* Bless him
* Expand his territory
* Be with him in all that he does
* Keep him from trouble and pain

Would you pray like Jabez prayed for yourself this year?

When God desires to bless you, He also is looking for a confirmation from your side.

If God has promised you abundance this year, then you would need to have the capacity to experience that abundance. You cannot do that if you are living in yesterday’s lacks or challenges.

Next thing that you need to ask God is to allow Him to be with you in everything you do.

And the last thing is, to ask Him to keep you from all the troubles.

When Jabez prayed this prayer, the bible says, God granted his request.

As you begin this year, start by realigning your prayer and declaring these prayer points over your life.

God bless you!
