1 Timothy 3:13 NLT
Those who do well as deacons will be rewarded with respect from others and will have increased confidence in their faith in Christ Jesus.
When we are faithful, willing and committed to serve God in our everyday life, in our ministry and responsibility that He entrusted us with, God says that we get:
1. Respect from people
2. An increased confidence in our faith in Christ Jesus
We wait for a season when our faith increases, level of understanding upon God goes to the next level and then start the ministry. But the bible says the more you do ministry, the more you are dependent on God, your confidence, faith and anointing will grow higher.
When we are intentional about growing in serving God and in the ministry that is entrusted to us, it leads us to increased confidence, faith and growth in our personal life.
The word “deacons” is not talking about the fulltime ministers like pastors or apostles or elders in the church. If we do a study on the word “deacon” one of the job description of a deacon is assisting the priest or elders or leaders who are appointed in the church. Deacons are the ones that are constantly involved in assisting in the functioning of the church.
If we are willing to serve God, God calls us as deacons.
God says not to just be a good deacon but do well as deacons with excellency.
The bible says such a person who do well as deacons will be rewarded with respect from others and will have increased confidence and faith in Christ Jesus.
May your ministry and service to God get noticed not only in heaven but even on this earth. May you receive respect from the people around you and may there be increased level of acknowledgement and appreciation for what you are doing in this season in Jesus name.
