Each of Us is an Original

Galatians 5:25-26 MSG
“Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives. That means we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original.”

This podcast is a repost, originally published on January 18, 2016.

The context in the book of Galatians chapter 5 talks about – The Fruit of the Spirit being love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, long suffering and humility.

Apostle Paul continues speaking from there on about, the kind of life we’ve chosen which is, leaning onto God. It’s very easy to document the idea about what we are called to do or supposed to do in our head, however, living out the same life becomes difficult as we walk through the week.

The question here is:

Are we trying to work on what God speaks to us or is it like an idea or sentiment in our heads and heart?

Do we take practical lessons as we read the Bible?

How does the Word imply to our life?

These questions are not to compare ourselves with each other rather, take lessons from each other.

Don’t waste life in comparing yourself with people, that’s not going to help!

We need to understand and know what God has created us for. The word says: “Each of us is an original”. Each of us are made in the image of God with unique ability and talent to glorify God in every way.

Make sure to apply what God teaches you in every area of your life and as you begin to do so, you will see your life turning to be completely original and not like somebody else’s life.

The more you receive from God and the more you obey God for yourself, you will be completely original.
