Arise, Dear Church!

Jul 9, 2018 | Evangelism

Isaiah 60:1 NLT
“Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the LORD rises to shine on you.”

Series: The Book of Isaiah

The verse is a profound and prophetic declaration over the Church, the bride of Jesus. Many times the lamp is lit and kept under the cot however, the verse talks about it to be brought out.

God asks us to arise to that place of prominence through this word. Though we may not be familiar with prominence, but hiding away from prominence would cause the resources to waste, that has been invested into us.

Many times we get convicted to share about Jesus. Sometimes we think a person may not need Jesus looking at the out ward appearance. But, what we carry on the inside of us is light and the the light can only be released on darkness.

The Bible talks about – letting your light shine for all to see.

The moon is not a reflective surface and can’t shine bright without the light. The Lord is asking us to get up and become transparent, humble, willing and available to become a blessing to a generation and at your work place.

Let’s not start this week without determining to be a light. Our church is a light in our city.

Let’s declare, live and speak the language of light. May your thoughts, words, actions emit light through this week.
