Guide My Steps
Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance.
Series: Prayer for Bible Reading
We have a God who gives us wisdom, knowledge and guidance. In this fresh month that God has given to us, let’s make it our prayer that our God will lead us and guide us in His ways. His ways are profound and He will always lead us to prosperity in our spirit, soul and body. Whereas our ways will lead us to problems and crises alone.
- Be guided by the Word
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, every word spoken in it is inspired by the Spirit of God. The Word of God is full of life and alive, it has the power to change us and our surroundings through us. Being guided by the Word of God is what leads us to greatness.
- Knowledge only puffs up
Majority of people in churches are so filled with knowledge of the Bible in their head that some have even come to a dangerous place of not reading their Bible any longer. Knowledge doesn’t help you beyond a certain extent. Wisdom is what we need to be filled with, because wisdom will help us know God better, trust God better and engage with God better. Wisdom will also make us wise. After all, the Proverbs says that the wise should listen to these proverbs and become even wiser.
- Guide my every step
We want God to guide our every step because without Him, many of our decisions will lead us into chaos. Being led by God always leads us to a better tomorrow and prosperity in our spirit, soul and body. How can we be guided by God? The Bible is inspired by the Spirit of God; reading the Word and receiving revelations from the scripture is one of the most powerful ways to be guided by the Spirit.
It’s our prayer that you will grow in wisdom and understanding; this will guide you into the best of what God has in store for you. Get His guidance from the inspired Word of God and lead your life from His guidance.
God bless you!
