Jesus is the Physician

Every time we enter into Gods presence we need to have openness and a level of vulnerability that would allow The Lord to change us and mould us from the inside out. Sometimes the problem is we keep those hurting and challenging areas of our lives to ourselves and we do not want to share them with the Lord or with Gods people fearing that they will look down on us or will not be able to understand what it is to help us. Jesus responded in today’s scripture saying He was not there for the sick but the hurting and broken people with whom He can help or take time. When we also see how Jesus responded to broken and hurting people, we would see the heart of God for us. We think that a revelation of God is exclusively for those who pray well or Go to church, give money or doing the right things religiously. Jesus further spent time with tax collectors, and He did this with compassion spending time with them, sowing Gods heart and Gods love. Today the LORD is approaching us to understand that His presence is with us and we must be willing to allow Him to take charge or control. If there is any lack of any sickness in our lives, today is a call to come to Jesus and His sufficient presence and immeasurable grace will cover as and as He encounters us, this grace will flow through us and for the people around us. This was the story of Levi, not just did he have an encounter with God but also became a channel for others to experience Jesus. Praying that as we step out today, we will be a source of encouragement and a reason for others to be encouraged and empowered today.
