Hold Out Your Hand

Mark 3:3-5 NLT

Jesus said to the man with the deformed hand, “Come and stand in front of everyone.”

Then He turned to his critics and asked, “Does the law permit good deeds on the Sabbath, or is it a day for doing evil? Is this a day to save life or to destroy it?” But they wouldn’t answer Him.

He looked around at them angrily and was deeply saddened by their hard hearts. Then He said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” So the man held out his hand, and it was restored!

Series: Believe Cause of My Works – John 14:11

We have been studying specific healing and miracles that were done by Jesus. Today we are going to study from Mark 3.

Jesus found a man with a deformed hand in the synagogue.

What are those places or areas in your life that are deformed?

Let’s speak to those decisions of business, marriage, health, ministry commitments that have become deformed by bringing them before Jesus.

The man looked around, Jesus looked at His critics. Jesus resolved to changed their perspective about the Sabbath and the written Law. Jesus did not live surrendering to people. Many times we miss out on experiencing restoration in our deformity by living as slaves to peoples opinions over our lives. Let’s flee from becoming a slave to man’s opinions.

The only person we are called to please and live for is Jesus!

Jesus wasn’t worried about His critics, He rather taught them what the word/law meant. Jesus’ voice brings liberty in our lives which is greater than the voice of the critics.

Let’s be men and women who help people reach their destiny just as Jesus did.

The hand represents our walk, commitment, ability and willingness to surrender. Let’s hold out our hands in every situation that looks deformed in our lives (be it the finances, marriage, business, etc.) believing it will be restored!

Declaring a restoration of faith in Jesus name!
