5. Disconnect from Distractions
The things that distract us from walking with God might not always be sinful.
Social media can be the biggest distraction in our generation today. But the question is how do you learn to disconnect from these everyday distractions?
In 1 Corinthians 7:35, Paul is not saying this that you live under restrictions, but to disconnect from these things intentionally.
Paul in this chapter is speaking about marriage and how at times marriage can become a distraction.
But the beautiful thing about Enoch was he walked with God though he was married and had sons and daughters. You can be married and be able to still walk with God. It doesn’t mean that your spouses are the distractions but if you intentionally disconnect from the things of this world that doesn’t matter calls for your attention, you will be able to walk with God.
Make the decision to disconnect from whatever is distracting you today and seek God with all your heart and desire to be intimate with God.
