Exercise Access & Asking

Oct 2, 2018 | Prayer

Esther 7:8 NLT
In despair he fell on the couch where Queen Esther was reclining, just as the king was returning from the palace garden. The king exclaimed, “Will he even assault the queen right here in the palace, before my very eyes?” And as soon as the king spoke, his attendants covered Haman’s face, signaling his doom.

This day how excited, eager, hunger are you to receive from the Lord and walk into the fullness of what God has prepared for you? Sometimes it takes a bold move from our side.

The story of Esther talks about a bold move she made to walk into the presence of the King uninvited. When we begin to exercise authority, rights and privilege God has given, our enemies begin to bend and bow down.

Haman tried to destroy the Jews to a point of total extinction, he sent out letters to attack and destroy the Jews on a particular day. Everything went according to Haman’s plan till Mordecai learned of this and sent the news to Esther. Esther was a Jew, but nobody knew about it.

Here’s a key to learn from:

The Holy Spirit will allow so many of us to be trained by our Mordecai’s i.e., our mentors, leaders, pastors, elders. However, they cannot fight for us when we have to fight ourselves.

It was only Esther who could fight for the Jews. There are so many things you can do that our leaders, mentors cannot do,
places we have access to. May God give you the grace to understand and stand up for your belief.

Esther went and invited the king for dinner. She did this two times, the second time she opened her heart before the King in front of Haman.

Here’s the second key to remember:

It is not enough to have access to God, it is necessary to ask from God. The Bible says, you have not, because you ask not!
The first thing you do is exercise your access and the next is ask for favour as Esther did before the king.

Esther asked for favour before the King in front of Haman and when Haman heard this he fell in the queens couch in despair and immediately the King asked for signaling his doom.

Prayer:
In the name of Jesus, every Hamans’, every spirit of darkness, every principalities, fights coming against you this season fail, as you begin to exercise your access to the Lord and asking authority to the Lord and as you begin to exercise that, everyone are going to bend their knee before you, they going to fall on your couch with despair, every demonic dream making you lose your focus be broken in Jesus name, every attack that you are not aware of be exposed this season and may you know who your real friends are. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.

Exercise your access to Him and exercise your asking to Him and you will not regret it!
