Return and Help Us

Jul 12, 2018 | Prayer

Isaiah 63:17 NLT
“Lord, why have you allowed us to turn from your path? Why have you given us stubborn hearts so we no longer fear you? Return and help us, for we are your servants, the tribes that are your special possession.”

Series: The Book of Isaiah

All we need to do to stay on the right direction is to start your day with prayer and looking to God for His help.

The people of Israel, the tribe of Judah as they had rebelled against God by worshiping idols. In Isaiah 63:17 shows a desperate cry of the prophet praying and asking God to bring them back to the right direction.

So often we choose the wrong things, people, situations and options and we put the blame on God.

Bad things happen to us because of the choices we make. God respects our freedom of choice.

Sometime it may not be your choice inspite of that can you pray and ask God to give you a new heart so you can learn to fear Him.

God wants to help us, but are we ready to ask for it and depend on His wisdom? Or are we just stubborn and want to go in the way that we like?

All of us have weaknesses, but when you ask God to give you strength to overcome your weaknesses and wisdom to make right choices, and begin your day this way, your day is going to be productive.
