Isaiah 64:6 NLT
“We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.”
Series: The Book of Isaiah
Revival comes as a result of us waiting on God asking His grace and protection over our lives.
The key ingredient of revival is repentance. If we want to see revival come in our city and church, then we have to repent for our sins and the state of our city and church.
Can we take the responsibility for our family or for our family member who is living a lifestyle of sin? We may not have the same lifestyle or sinful habits, but can we pray to God and ask for His grace and forgiveness?
We need to pray for our church, city and our nation. We need to intercede for our church members.
The sins that are plaguing our generation is way beyond. No government can fix the problem of sin. We are infected with sin and the only way we can fix this is by rising up and praying together as a church and start declaring for revival. God will not send revival till we repent.
The Bible says that if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
If we have a sin in our lives we need to repent for it ourselves and if we know anybody who is sinning we need to pray for them, weep for them, and then when we do this the Lord will send times of refreshment into our church, city, nation, and when this refreshment will come the hardest of sinners will repent because that is the power of revival.
