Series: Psalm 145 – Reasons to Worship

We continue to study from Psalm 145 on the different reasons we find to worship and follows Jesus, to give Him praise and our love! We have already learnt how He lifts and helps us, and how He is a merciful and compassionate God.

In today’s scripture, there is an emphasis on God’s works and God’s followers. Our greatest confidence should be that God is faithful to complete the work that He has begun on the inside of us. We are His masterpiece and he is continually working in every aspect of our lives.

Not only is God going to help you or lift you up, He is also going to work for you! And because of His works for us, we will become His faithful followers. Anything that doesn’t bring you closer to Jesus, is definitely not a work of God.

Doesn’t matter how prosperous and blessing it will look like from the outside. We need a fresh perspective on the works that God wants to do in us and for us! His works will always yield a fruitful relationship with God!

Evaluate everything that happened in your life, and find out which are God’s works in your life. And begin to thank God for them and praise him for the same. His works are a picture of a guy trying to woo his bride. God’s way of wooing us into following him is by working in our lives.
